I had wanted to see Egypt since I was 9 and our guide Araby brought Egypt’s history and culture to life in ways I never expected.
Araby has a gift. He’s a passionate teacher who took us on a journey through history as we visited each remarkable site.
Araby took us to pyramids, museums, tombs, temples, churches, synagogues, mosques, 3 desert areas and much more as he structured our visit to flow through Egypt’s history.
He spent the time to help us understand how images, features or structures in each of the different places related to one another, and he taught us how customs, both secular and religious evolved throughout Egypt.
At times we watched how other guides worked with their groups and saw how brief and robotic they could be when delivering their message.
Seeing this made us realise how fortunate we were to have someone who has such a passion for his craft to lead us through each site and give us detailed explanations of the many discoveries to be made.
He made our holiday better than I could ever have dreamed it could be.

During the last three years, I have been to Egypt twice. I have been part of a small group that has travelled extensively throughout Egypt with Araby from Egyptian Experiences.
